So why the Atlantic Rowing challenge? What has driven us to undertake such an extreme challenge? We both want to raise money and awareness for a charity, and in doing this we want to achieve something extreme that tests us to the limit so what better challenge than the longest toughest rowing challenge on earth! We love the water. Plus we shared the same bedroom as children so why not share the same boat!

| About: Mathew is a former Royal Marine who now works as a Marine Security Advisor for an oil company. He joined the Royal Marines at the age of 17. After six years service, he finished and gained a job working on search and rescue boats in the North Sea. Mathew is now 26 years old and as fit as a fiddle and looking forward to the challenge. | About: Christian is also a former Royal Marine who now works as a Ships Safety Officer for a shipping company. He joined the Royal Marines at 17 on completion of a 9 and half years of service he went to become asearch and rescue boat commander in the North Sea. Christian is as fit as a butcher’s dog and looking forward to the challenge. | |
